Alfar Hotel - Taoyuan

the location was fantastic, with a lovely park and lake right across the street. we enjoyed the complimentary coffee, tea, and snacks available in the lobby, which added to our overall comfort. the staff were welcoming and spoke fluent english, making our experience even better. the room was equipped with a small refrigerator, and we loved the excellent shower facilities.

The staff are courteous and nice, the location is excellent! Thanks to a train station located very close to the hotel, you can travel all around Taoyuan.

Great location near the airport and easy to reach by public transport. The staff is super friendly and fluent in English, making you feel welcomed. The room had a lovely view of the park, though the sound insulation could be better. A comfortable stay with nice amenities.

Greatly enjoyed my 1 night stay. The rooms were new-fashioned and bright with adapted bathrooms. Coffee/tea making machines and refrigerators were a plus. The hotel's location was unbeatable and magnificent to a mall that has everything.

I had a wonderful stay at Alfar. The spacious room featured a stunning en-suite and was impeccably clean. It’s just a short drive from the HSR station, making it convenient. Even though meals weren't included, I appreciated the complimentary snacks and drinks available throughout the day. The staff were friendly, with Ms. Debbie Wang standing out for her really good hospitality and food suggestions. The area was tranquil, and I loved the nearby park and lake.

I had a great stay at this new hotel! It's super close to the airport, just a short 12-15 minute drive, and the staff were helpful, even assisting with taxi bookings. The room was modern and clean, plus there's a cozy 24-hour lounge where you can grab snacks and drinks anytime. It was also nice to stroll around the nearby park and lake-perfect for some fresh air after a long journey.

On the downside, the soundproofing could definitely use some improvement; I could hear my neighbor snoring occasionally, which was annoying. Lastly, we had some issues with odd smells in the elevator, which wasn’t the most pleasant welcome!

We appreciated the 24/7 snack and drink bar, perfect for our late arrival. the location was great, being just a short drive from the airport and within walking distance of a lovely park.

I experienced some challenges . First, the room lacked necessary conveniences like a shelf in the shower for toiletries and a rack for my suitcase. The absence of a proper closet for hanging clothes was also quite inconvenient.

I recently stayed at a hotel for one night before an early flight. I loved the spacious room with a beautifully designed en-suite featuring separate areas for the sink, shower, and toilet, which made morning routines much easier. The location is fantastic, just a quick drive from the HSR station and a short walk to a charming lake. There are free snacks and refillable drinks available, which added a nice touch to my stay. The quiet atmosphere and nearby bus stop made it convenient for getting around.
